Come Tour the Garden Spot of Baseball!

You haven't seen PETCO Park until you've gone behind-the-scenes on one of our guided tours. Discover "writer's row" in the press box, learn about the historic Western Metal Supply Co. Building and explore the Padres dugout. The crown jewel of downtown San Diego, PETCO Park serves up baseball Southern California style-complete with swaying palm trees and a sandy beach beyond center field.

Join us for a walk in the sun. Individuals, families or groups smaller than 25 can join our walk-up tours offered six days a week. The tour times are as follows:

April-September: Tickets Now Available!
  • Tuesday - Sunday: 10:30 a.m. / 12:30 p.m. / 2:30 p.m.

Please note that there is no 2:30 PM tour offered on days with evening home games and there no tours offered on days with afternoon home games. No tours are available on Mondays except for pre-game Early Bird Tours.

CONTINUING IN 2008: EARLY BIRD TOURS!
Coming to a game at PETCO Park? Come early and enjoy a 60 minute guided tour of the ballpark. The Early Bird Tours begin 1 hour prior to gates opening for every evening game. This extensive tour takes guests inside the historic Western Metal Supply Company Building, looks into the Press Box, and includes an exclusive look at batting practice (when available). You must have a game ticket and an Early Bird Ticket to attend the Early Bird Tour. All PETCO Park entry policies will be enforced and bags will be checked. Each group is limited to 25 fans and meets at the VIP Gate near to the main box office on Park Boulevard. Weekday (Monday-Thursday) Early Bird Tours begin promptly at 4:30 p.m. (gates open at 5:30 p.m.); weekend (Friday-Saturday) Early Bird Tours begin at 4:00 p.m. (gates open at 5:00 p.m.).

Note: Batting practice is at the discretion of each team and is not guaranteed. Player autographs will not be available. Early Bird Tours are not available prior to day games.

Private tours or groups of 25 or larger are scheduled upon request and require reservations at least 10 business days in advance of the requested tour date. All tours depart rain or shine from the Advance Ticket Windows at PETCO Park and include climbing stairs and ramps. Tours are wheelchair accessible; however, wheelchairs are not provided. The Padres recommend that guests purchase tickets in advance as each tour group is limited to 25 people. Please arrive 15 minutes in advance as tours start promptly at the scheduled time.
