The Orioles will hold the 5th Annual OriolesREACH Birdland Golf Classic at The Founders Club in Sarasota, Fla., on Feb. 23, with the event benefiting the Miracle League of Manasota. The Miracle League is an organization dedicated to providing an opportunity for every person to play baseball, regardless of their ability.
The Orioles, along with the Orioles Wives, Oriole Advocates, MASN, WJZ-TV, and the Maryland Food Bank will hold their 29th Annual Food and Funds Drive, presented by OneMain Financial, at Oriole Park at Camden Yards from June 12-14 during the Orioles' series with the New York Yankees. Members of these groups will collect non-perishable food items and monetary donations from fans at each entrance from the time gates open until the middle of the second inning at all three games.
Items most needed at this time, according to the Maryland Food Bank, are peanut butter, canned chicken, canned tuna, oatmeal, breakfast cereals, and canned fruits and vegetables. All donations will benefit soup kitchens, food pantries, and emergency shelters throughout Maryland.

Jim Henneman will be doing a book signing for the official legacy book of the Orioles: "Baltimore Orioles: 60 Years of Orioles Magic" at the Orioles Team Store on Monday, June 29, from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Books will be available for sale, and fans who already have a book are encouraged to bring theirs to get signed.

The drive benefits soup kitchens, food pantries and emergency shelters throughout Maryland. Von Paris Moving and Storage will pick up and deliver all items donated. Fans who cannot attend the games can donate food online at www.mdfoodbank.org/orioles.
Brad Brach will appear at the Official Orioles Team Store at the York Galleria (2899 Whiteford Rd.) in York, PA to sign autographs and greet fans on Wednesday, July 29, from 11 a.m. to noon.
The Casey Cares Foundation 6th Annual 5K Run/Walk, in partnership with OriolesREACH, takes place on Saturday, August 1. The 3.1 mile run/walk begins and ends at Oriole Park at Camden Yards (with an on-field finish!) and includes post-race refreshments.
The Orioles Hall of Fame Luncheon, sponsored by the Oriole Advocates, founders of the Orioles Hall of Fame, will be held Friday, August 14, beginning at noon in the Warehouse at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The luncheon will honor Melvin Mora, Gary Roenicke and Fred Uhlman, Sr. (John Lowenstein will be unable to attend due to a previous engagement.)
That night they will be honored during on-field ceremony prior to the game vs. the Oakland Athletics at 7:05 p.m.
In an effort to help further support BARCS' efforts to find safe homes for dogs and cats in the area, Orioles players J.J. HARDY, TOMMY HUNTER, DAVID LOUGH, BUD NORRIS, CHRIS TILLMAN and MATT WIETERS will appear at BARCS (301 Stockholm Street) for an autograph signing from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on August 12. Fans must purchase a calendar at the event in order to receive an autograph, and fans attending the event may park for free in Lot D on the south side of M&T Bank Stadium.
The Oriole Advocates will conduct their 2014 Cardboard to Leather™ collection at Oriole Park, presented by Legg Mason. The Oriole Advocates created the program in 1992 to provide new and used baseball and softball equipment to underprivileged youth in developing countries. Since the program started, the Oriole Advocates have distributed tons of equipment to youth baseball players throughout the world in places such as Afghanistan, Aruba, Belgrade, Belize, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Venezuela. Fans are encouraged to bring new or gently used baseball equipment to the Orioles game on Saturday to be used in this year's distribution. Financial donations will also be accepted to help with shipping costs.
The Oriole Advocates Charitable Foundation will also conduct a silent auction of sports memorabilia at the game on Saturday, on the lower concourse near Gate E. Fans will have the chance to bid on baseballs, photos, bats, and jerseys autographed by current Orioles stars including CHRIS DAVIS, RYAN FLAHERTY, MIGUEL GONZALEZ, J.J. HARDY, TOMMY HUNTER, BRIAN MATUSZ, BUCK SHOWALTER, CHRIS TILLMAN and MATT WIETERS. Funds raised from the auction will be used to support the Cardboard to Leather Program™, which this year will provide baseball equipment to players in Mexico, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, and other Latin and Central America countries. Bids will be accepted from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
The Orioles will host LUNGevity Foundation's Breathe Deep Baltimore, a walk to raise funds and awareness for lung cancer in memory of Orioles' late Public Relations Director, Monica Pence Barlow, on October 3 at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
