Vending of alcohol in the stands will
conclude at the end of the 7th inning,
or three hours after the scheduled
first pitch, whichever comes first.
Concession stand sales of alcohol will
be terminated at the end of the 8th
inning, or three and a half hours after
the scheduled first pitch, whichever
comes first. All vendors require a valid
state or government-issued ID for the
purchase and consumption of alcohol
within the park. There is a limit of
two alcoholic beverages per person, per transaction with valid ID. The
Orioles, as well as our vending and
concessions partners, reserve the right
to refuse sale/service of beverages to
anyone who appears to be intoxicated
or is without valid ID.
Animals
Service animals are the only animals
permitted within the gates of Ed Smith
Stadium.
Autographs
Time permitting, players and coaches
may sign autographs from the time the
gates open until 45 minutes prior to
the start of each game. At that time,
ushers will ask fans to return to their
seats.
Automated Teller Machine (ATMs)
ATMs are located within Ed Smith
Stadium inside the Official Orioles
Team Store (behind Section 114) as
well as directly across from Café 54
(behind Section 112).
All items that are allowed into the
ballpark will be inspected. Purses,
diaper bags, backpacks and camera
bags will be permitted into the
ballpark, but items must fit into a 16"
x 16" x 8" box.
Banners/Signs
The Orioles welcome fan support in
the form of handmade banners and
signs. To ensure that all fans will
have an unobstructed view of the
ballgame, the Orioles do not permit
the hanging or carrying of banners
anywhere in the ballpark. Banners
may be displayed before and after
the game and between innings only.
Banners are subject to confiscation if
the content is commercial, political,
and/or in bad taste according to the
Orioles' discretion.
Café 54, named to honor the year
Major League Baseball returned
to Baltimore in 1954, offers fans a
variety of Boar's Head sandwiches
and wraps among other menu items,
including Chick-fil-A, in a casual,
climate-controlled setting. The cafe
is located just inside the Home Plate
entrance to the ballpark.
Camera/Video Equipment
Guests are welcome to bring cameras
and video recorders into the ballpark
for personal use. However, any
photographic equipment cannot be
used to reproduce the game and
must not interfere with other fans'
enjoyment of the game.
Container Policy
No hard-sided coolers, thermoses,
glass bottles, cans, or alcoholic
beverages will be permitted into
the ballpark or claim checked at
the entrance gates. Non-alcoholic
beverages in plastic bottles will be
permitted into the park. All items
will be checked at the gates and any
beverage which has been opened or
partially consumed prior to entry is
subject to confiscation if it is thought to
contain alcohol. In addition, no plastic
or paper cups containing beverages
will be permitted into the park at the
entry gates.
Parking: Accessible parking spaces
are available for those fans with a
state-issued handicapped license
plate or hangtag and are available on
a first-come, first-served basis. Should
these spaces be filled, attendants
will direct fans to the nearest open
parking.
Seating: Wheelchair accessible seats
are located throughout the ballpark in
all ticket categories. These seats may
be purchased in advance by calling
the Orioles at (941) 893-6300,
Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000, or
by visiting the Ed Smith Stadium Box
Office.
Elevators: Elevators are available
behind home plate (near Section 112),
in left field (behind Section 125), and
in Right Field (behind Section 101).
The Fan Assistance Center, courtesy
of the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, is
located behind home plate (behind
Section 112) and operates from the
time the gates open until 15 minutes
after the game ends. Here fans may
obtain information, offer suggestions,
and receive assistance with any
situation that may occur during their
visit to Ed Smith Stadium. Fans are
also encouraged to visit the nearby
Sarasota Convention & Visitors
Bureau gazebo for a list of things to
do while in town.
Fan Code of Conduct
Courteous behavior is expected of all
fans. Any fan infringing on another
fan's enjoyment of the game is subject
to ejection from the ballpark. Our
staff will intervene when necessary to
support an environment where fans
can enjoy the baseball experience
free from the following behaviors:
Foul/abusive language or obscene
gestures; intoxication or other signs
of impairment related to alcohol
consumption; displays of affection
not appropriate in a public setting;
obscene or indecent clothing; any
disruption to the progress of the game
by a fan's action or unauthorized
persons on the playing field; fans seated in a location other than their
ticketed seat. If anyone is interfering
in another fan's enjoyment of the
game, they are encouraged to contact
the nearest usher or visit our Fan
Assistance Center.
First Aid
A First Aid Center is located behind
home plate on the main level of
the ballpark, behind Section 112.
Paramedic units are on duty during
each game. Suntan lotion, Band Aids,
and other similar items are available
at the Center.
Located directly behind home plate
between the Owner's Box and the
Press Box, the Home Plate Suite
offers a sweeping view of the action
from a climate-controlled setting. Up
to 100 guests will enjoy a flexible
menu in a sophisticated, modern

Located just beyond the Left Field
fence, the Left Field Pavilion offers a
casual, social setting for individuals
or groups with seats at drink rails or
at 4-seat bistro tables facing the field.

Lost and Found
Lost and found items should be taken
to the Fan Assistance Center. Fans
inquiring about lost items should visit
the Fan Assistance Center during
games or call the Orioles at (941)
893-6300.
Lost Parents/Found Children
Children who cannot find their
parents, as well as parents looking
for their children, should go to the Fan
Assistance Center.
A game is official after 4 1/2 innings
have been completed, or five innings
if the Orioles are losing at the time.
If a game is postponed prior to being
an official game, fans should hold on
to their ticket stub. Details regarding
refunds will be announced through the
media at a later date.
Oriole Bird, Team Mascot
Since 1979, the Oriole Bird has been
entertaining fans of all ages at games
as well as making appearances
throughout the community. And The
Bird is now available to make yearround
appearances outside of the

lots on and surrounding the Ed Smith
Stadium complex. More than 1,800
spaces are available on site, including
several spots on the East Lot reserved
for cars carrying three or more

Orioles Media Guide: The Orioles
Media Guide is published each
March and contains biographical and
statistical information on the team's
major and minor league players,
coaches and staff. The Media Guide
also contains the records and history

if ordered over the phone) at the
Orioles Team Store during Orioles
home games, at Birdland Souvenir

Orioles Magazine: Orioles Magazine
is filled with articles and inside
information on your favorite past,

Single-speaker radios and handheld
televisions are permitted in the
ballpark as long as they don't interfere
with other fans' enjoyment of the
game.
Rainouts
In the event that a game is officially
postponed due to rain, tickets for
that game will be considered rain
checks. Rainout policies vary based
on the situation. A policy will be
announced after the game is officially
postponed. Any game suspended
after five innings (or 4 1/2 innings if
the Orioles are ahead) is considered
a complete game. Suspended
game tickets cannot be exchanged.
Complimentary ($0.00 value) tickets
are not exchangeable.
Re-Entry Policy
Per Major League Baseball
regulations, fans will not be permitted
to re-enter the ballpark once they
leave. Only emergency situations
for exiting the ballpark with re-entry
permission can be granted by the
Director of Florida Operations. Fans
requesting to leave the ballpark with
re-entry permission should be directed
to the Fan Assistance Center.
Restrooms
Spacious restrooms are located on
all levels throughout the ballpark.
Changing tables are available in most
men's and women's restrooms. Parents
taking children of the opposite sex
to the restroom may want to use the
special Family Restroom and Waiting
Area located behind Section 114.
Fans may recognize a special
person's birthday or anniversary on
the new state-of-the-art HD video
board at Ed Smith Stadium by
making arrangements at least 24
hours in advance of a game. Fans
can call (941) 893-6300 or visit
the Fan Assistance Center to make
advance reservations, which must
be accompanied by a minimum $10
donation to the Baltimore Orioles
Charitable Foundation.
Security Procedures
No umbrellas, hard-sided coolers,
thermoses, glass bottles, cans or
alcoholic beverages are permitted
into the ballpark. You must leave these
items in your vehicle before entering
the ballpark.
Non-alcoholic beverages in plastic bottles are permitted into the park. All items will be checked at the gates and any beverage which has been opened or partially consumed prior to entry is subject to confiscation if it is thought to contain alcohol. In addition, no plastic or paper cups of beverages are permitted into the park at the entry gates.
All items permitted into the ballpark will be inspected. No bags or items exceeding the maximum size of 16" x 16" x 8" are allowed into the ballpark. Permitted items must easily fit into a 16" x 16" x 8" container. Bags on wheels are prohibited.
No containers or unauthorized items can be left at any park entrance. You will be asked to return them to your vehicle.
No re-entry will be permitted. Once you enter the ballpark, you will not be permitted to leave and re-enter the facility. Please make sure you have everything you need with you before entering the ballpark.
Smoking Policy
Ed Smith Stadium is a smoke-free facility
and smoking inside the stadium is
prohibited. Fans are prohibited from reentering
the stadium if they wish to exit
the facility to smoke. Electronic cigarettes
are also prohibited.
Located along the third base side on the
ballpark's second level, the Third base
Lounge offers a dynamic view of the
action and offers fans exclusive access
to a climate-controlled bar, as well as
premium outdoor seating. Tickets to
the Third Base Lounge for individuals
or groups start as low as $30. For

For the safety and overall experience
of all fans, umbrellas are not permitted
inside Ed Smith Stadium. They cannot
be checked at the ballpark entrance
gates, so fans are advised to leave
umbrellas in their cars.
