Padres name Jarrod Dillon as Vice President, Ticket Sales and Service

San Diego, CA - The San Diego Padres announced today they have named Jarrod Dillon as Vice President, Ticket Sales and Service. President and Chief Operating Officer Tom Garfinkel made the announcement.

Dillon, 31, comes to the Padres from the National Football League's Oakland Raiders, where he was the Director of Premium Seating & Ticket Sales. In his new role with the Padres, he will oversee all ticket sales and service, including season tickets and group sales.

"Jarrod has established himself as a results-oriented and fan-focused leader in the industry and we're thrilled to add him to our leadership team," said Garfinkel. "Hiring Jarrod is an important step in our goal to build a model that provides the best value and experiences for our fans and season ticket holders."

With the Raiders, Dillon directly managed all day-to-day operations of new season tickets, group tickets and luxury suite programs, while also working closely with the organization's marketing and business development efforts.

Prior to his time in the NFL, Dillon worked for the San Francisco Giants in a variety of ticket sales and special events roles.

A 2000 graduate and four-year varsity football player at the University of Oregon, Dillon received his MBA from Sonoma State University, where he focused on Sports Marketing. In addition, he served as a part-time Sports Sales & Business Development professor for the University of San Francisco's Sports Management Program from 2006-07.
