The Padres, who had their nine-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday night, will turn to Chan Ho Park to get even with the Brewers in the second game of this three-game series.

Park delivered his finest effort with the Padres against the Cubs in a no-decision last week, holding them to two hits and four walks in nine innings.

Chris Capuano will be on the mound for the Brewers, who broke their own three-game losing streak with their 5-4 win over the Padres.

"Streaks are streaks. That's why you play 162 games," said Padres closer Trevor Hoffman, who picked up the loss on Tuesday. "The bottom line is, our guys have been pitching well, but we just have to put this one aside and reflect on it for what it's worth and get back out there."

The nine-game winning streak was the longest since the franchise-record 14 game win streak from June 18-July 22, 1999.

Tuesday night's game was the sixth extra-inning game of the season, the most for any team in the Majors. The Padres are 4-2 in extras, while the Brewers are 2-0.

Pitching matchup
MIL: LHP Chris Capuano (4-2, 2.63 ERA)
Capuano has pitched at least six innings and allowed three or fewer runs in all seven of is starts.

SD: RHP Chan Ho Park (1-1, 4.12 ERA)
Park was throwing 93-mph fastballs in the ninth inning on his way to 121 pitches, demonstrating the stamina and strength that have characterized his past four starts.

Player to watch
The Brewers Carlos Lee, who had his 15th home run and a double Tuesday, has hit safely in 26 of his 33 games this season and reached base in 30 of those 33. He has a five-game hitting streak. He established a team home record for home runs in April with 10.
