GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- Jeremy Hermida and Nick Hundley each hit home runs and Cory Luebke faced the minimum over two innings as the Padres split-squad beat the Reds by a 5-0 score on Wednesday at Goodyear Ballpark.During his first spring outing, Luebke gave up one hit and one walk with four strikeouts. He erased both of his baserunners with pickoff plays. "I felt all right," Luebke said. "Getting out there you think you won't get jitters but you do. The ball was coming up on me from the stretch but we made adjustments. It was a good outing." Facing Reds starter Bronson Arroyo in the top of the first, former Reds outfielder Hermida launched the first pitch into the left-center-field bullpen for a 1-0 Padres lead.
Reds up next: The Reds will travel to Phoenix to face the National League Central Brewers and ace Zack Greinke Thursday at 3:05 p.m. ET. After Mike Leake makes the start, it will be another tuneup out of the bullpen for lefty reliever Sean Marshall. In his first outing on Sunday, Marshall gave up two runs, two hits and a walk in one innings against the Indians
