ATLANTA -- During the weeks leading up to Spring Training, the Braves will once again travel to various Southeast cities to interact with fans and participate in a variety of community events.
The 2013 Braves Country Caravan, presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors, will begin on Jan. 22 and run through Feb. 2. During this two-week event, Braves players, coaches, broadcasters and front-office employees will travel approximately 3,000 miles to five different states.
"We look forward to our annual Braves Country Caravan as a time to provide our fans throughout the Southeast an opportunity to interact with our manager, coaches and players, and to express our gratitude for their loyalty and support," Braves president John Schuerholz said in a release. "This is one special way we can show our appreciation to some of the most passionate and dedicated baseball fans in the world."
