Fans must pre-purchase tickets by May 3 while supplies last at braves.com/bark
Braves fans and their furry friends are in for a doggone good time at the first of two Bark in the Park events this season on May 5. An annual fan-favorite at Turner Field, humans and canines will be treated to a transformed "puppy paradise" in the Coca-Cola Sky Field as the Braves take on the New York Mets. Tickets must be purchased in advance at braves.com/bark.
The action-packed day will feature cool doggie pools and water misters, veterinary services, pet-friendly treats and plenty of watering holes for man's best friend to stay hydrated. Representatives from Atlanta's first doggie day care, WAG-A-LOT, will be onsite to help ensure all animals enjoy their time at Turner Field.
Tickets will not be available on the day of the event, and fans should register soon, as space is limited. Tickets are $25 and include one human ticket and one dog ticket. Additional human tickets are available for $15. Admission must be purchased through the link on braves.com/bark, as dogs will not be admitted with ticket holders in other general seating areas. Dogs of all shapes and sizes are welcome and must be at least four months of age and up-to-date on all required vaccinations. Fans are encouraged to visit braves.com/bark to see if their dog is right for Bark in the Park.
Due to its enormous popularity, the Braves have scheduled two Bark in the Park dates in 2013, with the second date set for Sunday, September 15 when the Braves take on the Miami Marlins.
Fans can purchase tickets by visiting braves.com/tickets, the Braves Ticket Office at Turner Field, the Braves Clubhouse Store at the CNN Center, all Ticketmaster outlets or by calling 1-800-745-3000.
