The San Diego Padres and Kansas City Royals will play a two-game exhibition series — including one contest at Single-A affiliate Lake Elsinore — prior to the start of the 2012 regular season.
San Diego and Kansas City will play at 7:05 p.m. PT on Tuesday, April 3 at PETCO Park. Padres individual-game tickets, including the April 3 exhibition game, will be available on a date to be determined. Major League Baseball will release its full 2012 regular-season schedule later this month.
The two teams will play at Lake Elsinore on Wednesday, April 4 at 2:00 p.m. PT. The Storm have hosted the Padres four times in exhibition play, but this will mark the first game between two Major League teams at The Diamond.
