Padres host Mariners and Blue Jays May 29-June 2

Home action begins tonight, with a 7:10 p.m. start against the Mariners. Monster Energy Supercross 250SX Class Champion Ken Roczen will throw the Ceremonial First Pitch.
Prior to the game, the Padres will honor the Padres Foundation's featured homestand charity partner, Monarch School. As part of the pregame ceremony, the Padres will highlight the school's mission to educate students impacted by homelessness and to help them develop hope for a future with the necessary skills and experiences for personal success.
MMA fighter and Bellator Lightweight Champion Mike Chandler will throw the Ceremonial First Pitch ahead of Thursday's 12:40 p.m. game.
On Friday, the Padres will host the 10th Annual Salute to the Negro Leagues luncheon and pregame ceremony. The limited-seating luncheon, which will be emceed by the Mighty 1090 radio host John Kentera, will be held at the Omni Hotel San Diego and hosted by Padres Executive VP/Senior Advisor and Hall of Famer Dave Winfield. The 2013 Salute to the Negro Leagues, themed Game Changers, will honor former Negro League players, including George "Jo-Jo" Altman, Neale "California Comet" Henderson, Don "Groundhog" Johnson, Ray "Boo Boy" Knox, Minnie Minoso, Charley Pride, Mack "The Knife" Pride, Jim Robinson, and Ron "Roomie" Teasley. Other notable guests include Bob Kendrick, executive director of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City, Mo. and keynote speaker, sports writer, author and blogger, Joe Posnanski. Prior to the game, Minnie Minoso will throw the Ceremonial First Pitch.
In support of the 10th Annual Salute to the Negro Leagues, the Padres Foundation will present donations to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, the Jackie Robinson Foundation, the Society for American Baseball Research's Negro Leagues Grave Marker Project and the New Central Library.
Friday also marks Girl Scout Night & Campout, when approximately 1,000 local Girl Scouts will attend the game and treated to postgame snacks, as well as a movie and sleepover on the field at Petco Park.
Please note the special 7:10 p.m. start time for Saturday's game. The first 25,000 fans in attendance on Saturday will receive a Padres replica jersey and a pet bandana, presented by Petco.
Prior to Saturday's game, the Padres will recognize eight Pitch, Hit & Run Champions (four boys and four girls from different age groups).This spring, more than 600,000 children participated nationwide in Major League Baseball's free Pitch, Hit & Run program. Prior to Saturday's game, the top 12 boy and top 12 girl qualifiers from Southern California and Nevada will have competed at Petco Park in hopes of advancing to the National Finals at the 2013 Major League Baseball All-Star Game in NY, NY.
The homestand wraps up Sunday with a special 7:10 p.m. start to accommodate the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon, which, for the first time this year, finishes at Petco Park.
Sunday's finale against the Blue Jays will feature a Military Salute highlighting military non-profits that do so much to support the military community in San Diego. Among those organizations that will be recognized are the Integra Center, the USO, Operation Homefront, Operation Rebound and Socks for Troops. Marines from the Third Marine Aircraft Wing at Miramar Air Station San Diego will participate in Military Take the Field and one will throw the Ceremonial First Pitch.
Due to the later start time, there will be no Breakfast at the Park on Sunday, and Jr. Padres Sunday Signings will be moved to 5:30 p.m. Two Padres players will sign autographs at the Park at the Park for Jr. Padres Sunday Signings. A Jr. Padres membership is required to participate in the signing event. Membership is free, and kids can sign up online or in-person on the day of the event.
Also Sunday, Padres third baseman Chase Headley will host a private meet-and-greet for his community program, Headley's Heroes. This homestand's Hero, six-year-old Cole Nisil, and his family will receive a full game-day experience, including a batting practice visit, field level tickets, a meet and greet with Headley in the Padres, photo opportunities with various Padres players, a special in-game message, Headley's Heroes merchandise, a framed certificate, transportation to and from stadium, food vouchers and much more.
