After getting totally shut down in the series opener in Los Angeles, the Padres broke out in a big way, routing the Dodgers and evening the series. Adrian Gonzalez had four RBIs, while Woody Williams pitched six one-run innings to bring San Diego to within a half-game in the NL West.
