Jake Peavy was not his usual dominating self against the Dodgers, but the Padres ace scattered nine hits in six innings to improve to 3-0 on the season. Josh Bard, Brian Giles, Tadahito Iguchi and Adrian Gonzalez each delivered an RBI single during a four-run fourth inning which put San Diego ahead for good.
