Sporting Clays Invitational to benefit Pirates Charities

At an earlier event, Seven Springs presented Pirates Charities with a check in support of Wins for Kids, a program that raises money for The Children's Institute of Pittsburgh's Prader-Willi Syndrome Program. On Thursday, August 28, 2014, Pirates Charities hosted the 6th annual Pirates Charities Sporting Clays Invitational.

At the event, participants had the unique opportunity to spend the day with current and former Pirates players, broadcasters and front office executives while supporting the many and varied efforts of Pirates Charities.

More than 140 participants spent the day with current and former Pirates players, along with broadcasters and front office executives, enjoying the scenic and challenging sporting clays course at Seven Springs.

In the process, funds were raised in support of the many and varied programs of Pirates Charities.

Participants from both flights were treated to lunch in the afternoon at the Sporting Clays lodge.
