The Padres Foundation for Children is the primary source of funding for the club's outreach initiatives in the areas of children's health, education and youth baseball/softball.

The Padres are continuing and expanding their commitment to youth baseball with their 2013 Youth Baseball Initiative. The program expands in 2013 to more than 14,700 local youth baseball players in Majestic, custom-made, authentic Padres jerseys and corresponding caps.
