Future Padres Program

The Padres' commitment to youth baseball and softball continues in 2018 with #FuturePadres, a signature youth baseball and softball program powered by Clorox and US Bank. Since 2012, the Padres have donated more than 109,000 jerseys, caps and headbands to the region's youth baseball and softball players.

Here are some fun facts for 2018:

  • 73 leagues supported
  • Participation from more than 2,000 teams
  • More than 26,000 jerseys, caps and headbands provided free of charge to little leagues, pony and softball leagues in San Diego County

"By accepting the Padres jersey donation, our Little League will be able to keep our registration fees among the lowest in youth sports. We are an all-volunteer, self-supporting league and receive no money from the city to help run and maintain our facility. The Padres jersey initiative allows us to pay our bills, purchase equipment for the players and for field maintenance, and provide a safe and fun environment for our players." -Youth Baseball Program participant
