Stand Up To Cancer

WATCH: The Padres recap last year's "Stand Up 2 Cancer" campaign as they unveil all the people who signed the "SU2C" wall at PETCO Park.

Wins for a Cause
The Padres are committed to continuing to support the fight against cancer. Last year the Padres, with the help of our generous fans, made a $317,000 donation to Stand Up To Cancer, a national movement created to raise funds to accelerate ground-breaking cancer research. Our 2010 season-long partnership with SU2C was a great success, but our involvement and support is not a one-year commitment.

Like it does for many of us, this issue hits very close to home for Padres General Manager Jed Hoyer. For that reason, Hoyer has stepped up to become personally involved and, hopefully, inspire others to join him. For every Padres win this season, Hoyer will donate $100 to SU2C. We hope that by winning games and bringing awareness to this issue, fans will want to become involved, as well. Fans can join the campaign and help researchers get new cancer treatments to patients quicker, by clicking here.

Limited-Edition Padres/SU2C Patches
The Padres have also designed a limited-edition SU2C/Padres patch. Patches are $10 each and may be purchased by any fan wanting to support this important cause. While supplies last, fans who purchase a SU2C/Padres patch online will also receive a free limited-edition STANDiego Padres shirt, as seen in the video above.
