Friday, July 15 - Padres vs. GiantsThe Padres' Wives Mystery Bag Fundraiser will be held at PETCO Park on Friday, July 15 and Saturday, July 16* with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Operation Smile. Operation Smile provides free surgeries to repair cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities for children around the globe. Mystery Bags will be sold only at PETCO Park, are $40 each, and contain one baseball autographed by a Padres player, MLB star, or Hall of Famer. Fans will select a sealed bag, and once they purchase it, they get to open it and find out which player signed the enclosed baseball. *While supplies last.

Kids, come and meet Orlando Hudson at the Ashford/Padres Reading Corner on Wednesday, July 27 at 12:30 p.m. at the Malcolm X Library (5148 Market St., San Diego, CA 92114). Orlando will be the special guest reader for Storytime and make a special presentation to the San Diego Public Library on behalf of Ashford and the Padres.
JULY 28 - STRIKE OUT! AUTISM BOWLING FUNDRAISER
Padres infielder Orlando Hudson is calling for a different kind of strike. Join Orlando Hudson and more of your favorite past and present Padres players for a few hours of good, clean fun at East Village Tavern and Bowl on Thursday, July 28. The Strike Out! JULY 29 - CATCH FOUNDATION & SPRINKLES CUPCAKES
Sprinkles Cupcakes and San Diego Padres Second Baseman Orlando Hudson will be joining forces to help support the C.A.T.C.H. Foundation, Hudson's own charity that enables children with autism to enjoy a normal life through the funding of outlets for therapy, education, and extracurricular activities. 100% of the sales of the Padres Vanilla Cupcake featuring the San Diego Padres and C.A.T.C.H. logos during the week of July 29-August 5 will be donated to Orlando's foundation. In addition, Hudson will kick off the weeklong promotion by serving his Padres Vanilla Cupcake to fans at the Sprinkles La Jolla location from 11am-1pm on Friday July 29th. Fans of Sprinkles Cupcakes and the Padres can meet Orlando and take pictures with the second baseman, while supporting his praiseworthy charity and enjoying a sweet treat.
JULY 30 - SOLES4SOULS: SHOE COLLECTION DRIVE
Saturday, July 30 - Padres vs. RockiesThe Padres are partnering with Cox, Halogen TV and Soles4Souls to sponsor a shoe drive at PETCO Park on Saturday, July 30 to donate shoes to those all over the world in need. Donations of adult and children's shoes will be accepted at the four entrance gate at PETCO Park. Donated shoes must come in pairs (no single shoes will be accepted). Soles4Souls is a non-profit organization that brings shoes to adults and children in need all over the world in places such as Africa, Honduras and Haiti. Recently, Soles4Souls started collecting donated shoes to victims of the tornadoes in Alabama and Tennessee. For additional information, please visit www.shoes4sandiego.com.
