Your Padres are excited to host the Friar Faithful to preview the 2009 baseball season at Padres Fan Day - a free festival and team workout on Sunday, April 5 from noon to 4 p.m. at PETCO Park. Bring the family out for a fun day at the ballpark and see your 2009 Padres workout on the day before Opening Day!
Here are some of the exciting festivities:
Padres players and coaches will be signing autographs (1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m.)
Fans will also have the exclusive opportunity to purchase game-used jerseys, batting helmets and various one-of-a-kind items at the Padres Garage Sale, with proceeds benefiting the Padres Foundation for Children.
Concessions, merchandise and games for the kids will be also available.
Note: This event is being held in lieu of Padres winter FriarFest event.
