The Carlsbad 5000 & Junior Carlsbad races, among the most popular of all Southern California running events, will take place on April 4-5, 2009. The San Diego Padres will be hosting the Carlsbad 5000 and Junior Carlsbad participicants on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at PETCO Park.
