Once again during the 2009 season, the San Diego Padres offer our Season Ticket Holders a flexible "Ticket Trade Benefit" for season tickets, including previously exchanged season tickets, allowing these tickets to be traded for another date and game.
The first date that Season Ticket Holders may begin to trade Season Tickets is Saturday, March 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All transactions must be completed either in-person at the PETCO Park Advance Ticket Windows or by mailing tickets you wish to trade at least ten (10) days prior to the game date to the Padres Ticket Office.
New in 2009, there are now two (2) ways to trade your Season Tickets! Season Tickets may be traded on a ticket-for-ticket basis and for equal value (or for less if tickets are unavailable in your price level). In addition, Season Tickets may now also be traded on a value-for-value basis. For example: The paid value of two (2) Monday Field Box tickets can be applied toward four (4) Thursday Upper Infield Reserved tickets. Ticket credits as a result of the Ticket Trade benefit will not be held on accounts and refunds cannot be issued. All Ticket Trade transactions must be completed at the time the tickets are presented for trade. While Monday through Thursday tickets may only be traded for like days, Friday through Sunday tickets can be traded for any day.
Please note: Due to an anticipated sellout on Opening Day, April 6, Season Ticket trades are not available for this game. However, Full-Season Ticket Holders may trade Opening Day tickets included in their Season Ticket package for games other than Opening Day.

The Padres offer five (5) Unused Season Ticket Nights during the 2009 season.
All exchanges must be completed twenty-four (24) hours prior to the Unused Season Ticket Night selected. Please exchange season tickets as early as possible to obtain the best seating opportunities.
Unused season tickets for April and May may be exchanged for Tuesday, May 19 vs. the San Francisco Giants.
Unused season tickets for May and June may be exchanged for Wednesday, June 17 vs. the Seattle Mariners.
Unused season tickets for June and July may be exchanged for Tuesday, July 21 vs. the Florida Marlins.
Unused season tickets for July and August may be exchanged for Monday, August 31 vs. the Washington Nationals.
Unused season tickets for August and September may be exchanged for Monday, September 14 vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks.
This benefit is good for 2009 season tickets, including previously exchanged 2009 season tickets, and is not valid when combined with other discounts or offers and is subject to ticket availability. There is a $1 processing fee per ticket. Complimentary, group, and single game tickets are not eligible for the Unused Season Ticket Night benefit.
Please note: The Padres are unable to guarantee seating availability for Unused Season Ticket Night, regardless of the original face value of the season ticket. Unused Season Tickets have no cash value and are not eligible for exchange to all-inclusive areas including but not limited to seats that include food and beverage, Suites, Dugouts, the Terrace Pavilion and the All-You-Can-Eat sections.

Half-Season Ticket Holders will have the option of purchasing additional tickets to all 2009 regular season home games, excluding Opening Day, prior to a general public on-sale.

Season Ticket Holders receive a discount of up to 31% over single game ticket prices.

Unused Tickets for future games may be presented or mailed to the Padres Ticket Office for donation to the Padres Foundation for Children, allowing disadvantaged youths an opportunity to attend a Padres game. The tax-deductible donation supports education, youth baseball and childrens' health initiatives.
Complimentary tickets have no cash value and are not eligible for any of the aforementioned ticket programs.
